Website redesign for a boutique hotel in Franschhoek.
Lavender Farm Guest House needed an online presence to match its premium guest experience. Plus27 Digital delivered a modern, visually stunning website built to elevate the brand and drive direct bookings.
Project Overview.
Lavender Farm Guest House, a boutique hotel in Franschhoek, South Africa, approached Plus27 Digital with an online presence that no longer reflected its premium guest experience. The existing website was outdated, failing to capture the property’s charm and elegance while falling short of modern digital standards. The brief was clear: build a modern, user-friendly, and visually refined website that would elevate the brand and drive bookings.
Over a few months, we delivered a full digital transformation shaped around a handful of core priorities. The new site is mobile-first, giving guests a seamless experience on every device, and it was structured to improve search engine visibility and attract more guests without relying on paid channels. High-definition drone videography captures the natural beauty of the farm, from the lavender fields to the surrounding mountains, while comprehensive analytics and conversion tracking provide clear insight into marketing performance and booking results. Just as importantly, the site was built to be simple for the hotel team to manage and update going forward.

Old Website
Final Version.
Our work began with a visit to the Franschhoek property, where detailed consultations helped us understand the brand, its goals, and the shortcomings of the old site. From there we audited the existing website and studied the local boutique hotel market, using behaviour data and heatmaps to shape a visual-first strategy. We then defined the site architecture, user flow, and design direction before moving into production, capturing panoramic drone footage of the guest house and surrounding lavender fields and rebuilding the site with clean, elegant design, intuitive navigation, and full tracking through Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Meta Pixel. After launch, we monitored performance closely through GA4 and Search Console, refining load times and content where needed, and delivered a Looker Studio report that gives the team a clear, ongoing view of traffic, engagement, organic growth, and booking conversions to support continued growth.
